I installed Windows 10 (April 18 update) on external SSD drive that can be selected on the iMac's startup. Run the Boot Camp Windows Support Software and everything is fine, Apple mouse & keyboard, except audio is missing. Windows 10 Device Manager app does not show any problems with the drivers such as yellow triangles or red crosses. In fact, when a video is played the green volumen bars in the audio device driver properties move but there is no sound at all.
Macbook pro mountain lion free upgrade. Apple will start switching its Macs to its own ARM-based processors later this year, but you won't be able to run Windows in Boot Camp mode on them. Microsoft only licenses Windows 10 on ARM to.
- iMac is the latest 2019 model.
- Windows 10 is up to date according to Windows update app (had to use April 18 update as start version since the installation does not work with October 18 version).
- Drivers are update to date according to Windows.

I recently started running windows 10 on my MacBook air via bootcamp and for the most part the included keyboard compatibility driver has done a good job of making windows usable.

- Jan 21, 2021 JohnIL February 13, 2021. My experience running Windows 10 in Boot Camp on a Early 2020 Intel Macbook Air is that it runs fine but monitoring CPU core temp I do notice that temps occasionally bump against the 100c Tj max temps for this CPU.
- I run Windows 10 on my Mac Pro, and it runs very well, just like on an equal PC. Some years ago, running it on a MacBook Pro, it played well on the speed side, but the machine was heating a little.
- I installed Windows 10 on my new MAC and it is running great. Problem is I have not sound. There are 2 drivers listed under sound in device manager. I made sure the volume is turned up.
I have however noticed the @ and ' symbols have swapped places. Even weirder is that the 2 and the ' symbol (the regular functions of both keys) are mapped correctly. I tried re mapping via the registry and this does fix the special functions but in turn swaps the correctly mapped regular functions. Solidworks software for mac. Has anybody had a similar experience, know what is causing this or how to fix it?
